Payment Terms

These Payment Terms apply to all projects. Specific amounts, percentages, currency and dates are set out in your quote, proposal or invoice.

Last updated: 12 October 2026

1. Quotes

A quote is an estimate for the defined scope and is valid for the period stated on it. Prices exclude taxes, third-party fees and out-of-scope work unless stated.

2. Advance and milestones

Every project starts with an advance payment of 20% of the project fee, and work begins after it is received. The remaining 80% is billed in stages or milestones as set out in the proposal, usually tied to progress or delivery. Final handover and launch are conditional on payment of all amounts due.

3. Invoices and due dates

Invoices are payable by the due date shown. If no due date is shown, payment is due within the period stated in the Project Agreement.

4. Payment methods

We accept the payment methods stated on the invoice, which may include bank transfer or other methods available in your region. You are responsible for any bank or gateway charges that apply to your payment.

5. Taxes

You are responsible for applicable taxes, such as GST, which are shown separately on invoices where required.

6. Late payment

If an invoice is overdue, we may pause work, withhold deliverables or live deployment, and charge reasonable late fees permitted by law and stated in the Project Agreement. Timelines extend by the length of the delay.

7. Recurring fees

Maintenance, hosting management, support and subscription fees are billed in advance for each period and continue until cancelled in line with the agreed notice period.

8. Third-party costs

Domains, hosting, licences, app store accounts, payment gateways, messaging or AI usage and similar services are billed separately unless included in the quote. Where possible, these accounts are registered in your name.

9. Changes in scope

Approved change requests are invoiced as agreed, either added to the next milestone or billed separately.

10. Disputed invoices

If you dispute an invoice, tell us in writing promptly with your reasons. Undisputed portions remain payable on time.

11. Ownership until payment

Rights in the deliverables transfer to you only after full payment, as described in our Deliverables Terms.
